Body:

Medium to large sized cat, short and cobby body. Short sturdy legs, large round paws, tufts between the toes are desired. Chest, shoulders and back massive and well-muscled. Short powerful neck. Tail short and thick with a rounded tip, full brush, well furnished, dense and long (bushy).

Head:

Round massive skull, well proportioned, with full cheeks and rounded forehead. Nose short and
broad with a definite palpable stop. The upper edge of the nose leather is not above the lower edge
of the eye. Chin and jaws broad, massive and strong. Open expressive look.

Ears:

Very small, round-tipped ears, set wide apart and low on the head. Full ear furnishings prevent the slightly sloped-set base from looking open.

Eyes:

Large, round, open eyes, set far apart; brilliant and expressive. Eye colour corresponding to coat colour.

Coat:

Long and dense; silky and fine in texture; soft but not woolly. Extra long and full frill covering the shoulders and the chest.

The Colourpoint is a colour variety of the Persian. Any point colour without white is accepted, the descriptions of colours are listed in the General Colour Guide. The eye colour is a vivid blue, the more intensive the better.

Faults:

Severe faults: Extremely fattened or unduly domed skull, running eyes, breathing difficulties, too
fine built or long in body, greasy or stringy coat, too much powder left in the coat . Common
grooming faults: knotted hair, bald spots due to removal of hair knots by comb. Colourpoints with white spotting, including toes, or those with any other eye colour than blue, are to disqualify.

Body:

Large to very large sized cat, body muscular, long and broad, overall impression rectangular.
Neck medium-long, with sturdy musculature; broad chest. Substantial muscular legs of medium length; feet large, round, well-tufted. Tail at least as long as to reach the shoulder, wide at base
and tapering to a pointed tip, with flowing hair.

Head:

Large massive skull, squared appearance with straight contours; cheekbones high, nose of
medium length; muzzle massive and square, distinct muzzle break. Chin massive and firm, in
line with upper lip and nose. Curved profile.

Ears:

Very large, tall ears, wide at the base and tapering to appear pointed at the tip. Set almost upright
and high, the distance between them being not more than an ear width. The ear furnishing extends beyond the outer edge of the ear. Ear tufts are desired.

Eyes:

Large, oval, spaced wide apart and set slightly oblique; eye colour to be uniform and harmonizing
with the coat colour.

Coat:

Short on the head and shoulders, except the ruff; obviously increasing in length down the back
and flanks. Dense undercoat, soft and fine, covered by a coarser, more substantial top coat. The dense smoothly flowing top coat is waterproof, completely covering the back, flanks and the
upper side of the tail. Underside of body and back side of hind legs have only undercoat. Long
frill is desired, but a full ruff is not essential.

Colour Varieties:

Chocolate and cinnamon and the according diluted colours (lilac and fawn) are not accepted in
any pattern combinations (bi-colour, tri-colour, tabby). Also, the c s -factor is not accepted.

Faults:

A coat of overall even length is a fault. Fine boning prevents from awarding CAC.

Body:

Medium sized cat, finely boned with firm muscularity. Slightly el ongated and slender body;
medium long legs, feet round ed and dainty. Tail long and tapering to a pointed tip.

Head:

Medium long wedge; firm chin, fine jaw forming a gently rounded tip. Slightly curved profile.

Ears:

Large, set rather high; tapering from a medium wide base to a pointed tip at first in straight lines,
then slightly rounded. They look almost transparent, but are well furnished inside.

Eyes:

Large and almond shaped; slightly slanted . Eye colour to be uniform and harmonizing with
coat colour.

Coat:

Medium-long and flowing, of fine texture, with glossy crisp guard hair and no wool hair; hair particularly long on neck, chest, breeches and tail.

Colour Varieties:

Chocolate and cinnamon and the according diluted colours (lilac and fawn) are not accepted in
any combinations (bi-colour, tri-colour, tabby). Also, the c s -factor is not accepted. Any other

Body:

Medium long, elegant, firm, lithe, showing well developed muscular strength, solid to the feel.
Tail long and tapering, broad at base. Legs to be sinewy, long and slim. Feet small and oval.
Slender neck.

Head:

Modified wedge with slightly rounded contours. Firm chin; nose medium in length; profile
gently curved.

Ears:

L arge , set wide apart; wide at base with moderately rounded tips. Ear inner furnishing and
,,thumb print" markings are desirable.  

Eyes:

Large, brilliant and expressive, slightly almond shaped, set well apart. Eye colour to be pure,
clear, intensive amber or green. In all colour varieties eye lids are encircled by the ticking
colour (eye line).
 

Ticking:

Multiple bands of colour on each single hair. The ticking to be evenly extended all over the
body, free of any barring. The spine line, the tip of tail and heels are intensively coloured in
the ticking colour . Chest, underside of body and inside of legs showing base colour
without any ticking.

Texture:

Medium long, fine and lustrous with dense undercoat. Ruff and breeches desired; tail bushy.

Faults:

Broken necklace; grey or too light undercoat colour; lack of ticking; barring on front legs; ghost markings; no line of dark pigmentation round the eyes; white elsewhere than chin.

Medium sized cat, medium strong and muscular build, slightly elongated, graceful in outline and appearance; neck slender and long; long legs, paws narrow and oval. Long tail, slightly rounded
tip.

Head:

Skull medium long and flat shaped; in profile forehead and straight nose meet at a convex angle level with the eyebrows. Prominent whisker pads; strong chin.

Ears:

Large and slightly pointed; slightly tilted forward, set wide apart. Inside ear with little furnishing, giving the skin of the ears a thin and translucent appearance.

Eyes:

Large and oval in shape; set wide apart; eye colour vivid green.

Coat:

Short and standing up soft and silky; the coat is double (same length in underwool and guard hairs), thus appearing extremely dense.

Coat Colour:

Clear blue and even through with a distinct silvery sheen ( hair tipped with silver). Medium blue is preferred.

tip of nose in the same vertical plane; pronounced whisker pads.

Ears:

Very large, wide at base with slightly rounded tips; set high on head.

Eyes:

Almond shaped, slightly slanted.

Coat:

Completely free of guard hairs, therefore velvety soft and supple texture, short and wavy coat; whiskers and eyebrows crinkled.

Medium in size, rounded and sturdy, yet comparatively fine boning. Rib cage broad and massive, abdomen rounded. Legs also with fine boning , yet muscular and strong. Front legs widely set because of the broad chest. Paws oval with long toes (monkey fingers). Tail long and slender,
whippy and bare. A small puff of hair on tip (lion tail) is accepted.

Head:

Medium-sized angular skull, hardly longer than wide, in the shape of a slightly rounded modified wedge. Strong rounded m uzzle with muzzle break, well developed whisker pads and prominent cheekbones. Profile curved. Neck medium long and muscular.

Ears:

Striking large size, set wide apart; broad at base, interior is totally hairless. Slight amount of down
on the base of the backside of the ear is allowed.

Eyes:

Large, lemon-shaped, slightly slanted . The distance between the eyes to be slightly more than an
eye width. Eye colour harmonizing with skin colour.

Coat:

The skin is just covered with light down. It feels like human baby skin and has the same function. Wrinkles on the forehead, legs and throat. Slight hair cover on the muzzle allowed. Whiskers are desired.

Faults:

Head:

Wedge-shaped skull, with prominent cheek bones and eye brows. Forehead flat with numerous wrinkles. Profile with a definite curve to the straight nose of medium length. Muzzle short and
rounded , with slight muzzle break. Chin medium strong.

Ears:

Large, with rounded tips. Set high, slightly tilted forward. Outer edges of the ears continue the
lines of the head.

Eyes:

Medium large, almond-shaped, slanted. Any colour allowed.

Coat:

The skin is thick, elastic, with lots of wrinkles on the head, neck, belly and legs. Slight down hair
is tolerated, but totally bare skin is preferred. Whiskers are desired. Young cats can have slight
fluff on legs, feet tail and muzzle, to disappear by two years of age. Totally bare cats are preferred.

Moderate wedge shape with gently rounded contours. Slightly curved profile, with the dip at eye level. Strong chin and lower jaw, rounded muzzle.

Ears:

Medium in size, broad at the base with slightly rounded tips and set wide apart.

Eyes:

Large and slightly slanted; the upper lid almond shaped, the lower lid slightly rounded; eye colour vivid blue.

Coat:

Short and glossy, close-lying; silky texture, no undercoat.

Faults:

The goal of the Thai breeding is the traditional type of the Siamese. Any changes of type that
might imply a hybridization by extraneous breeds (e.g. woolly coat, pronounced cheeks, definite
stop, round eyes) are undesirable and to be considered as a severe fault.

Almond shaped, slightly slanted towards the nose, in harmony with the wedge shaped head. The distance between the eyes to be not less than eye width. Eye colour is vivid deep blue

Coat:

Very short, glossy and close-lying. Silky texture, no undercoat.

The Siamese is a colourpointed cat, any point colour without white is accepted. The descriptions
of colours are listed in the General Colour Guide. Point colour develops slowly and will not show completely finished until cat is matured. Therefore, allowance is made for incomplete point color in young cats. Consideration should also be given to the fact that in older cats body colour may
darken and so-called flank spots can occur, both may be tolerated.

Faults:

Too deep set or protruding eyes are faults, same as any tendency to squint.
